Dr. Lyly believes in making dentistry inclusive and comfortable for all. She’s a New Haven kids dentist, an advocate for patients with physical and developmental disabilities and a proud mom of two.
Her warm approach, patience, over twenty years of expertise, and kid-friendly office mean you and your family can enjoy a better dental experience each time. Dr. Lyly also teams up with an in-house pediatric dentist and endodontist to give children more solutions under one roof.
Our goal is to help your kiddo’s smile grow into a big, beautiful, healthy one through fun education, simple prevention and modern painless treatments.

Dr. Lyly is serious about providing our New Haven, CT community with high-quality care. She’s also serious about having fun.
- Favorite Hobbies Dr. Lyly enjoys traveling, reading, baking, and cooking. She also loves music and plays the piano.
- Ultimate Hero The ultimate hero in Dr. Lyly’s life is her mom, who’s the strongest woman she knows!
- Family Background She’s from a family of healthcare providers, so choosing a career path in helping others was an obvious choice.
Her father is a physician hematologist and her mom is a nurse. Her husband, Dr. Manuel Sato, is also a dental professional in Connecticut (and our endodontist).
- Best Day Ever The best day of her life was when she became a mom. Motherhood changed Dr. Lyly’s life for the best. In addition to her two bundles of joy, she can now understand and care for her young patients better.
- Interesting Facts Dr. Lyly is bilingual. Spanish is her primary language, and she’s also fluent in English.
She loves to travel, and she’s explored the US, South America, Europe, and the Caribbean. It’s expanded her world, helping Dr. Lyly understand and respect other cultures.
